Last session of the year for Liverpool – bring on next year!

To round off our second year as Quartet in Residence at the University of Liverpool we played in a composition workshop set up by Michael McCusker, an enterprising student from the University – thanks Mikey for organising! We played through a wide range of pieces from some fairly tonal stuff through to a graphic score based on the Google Map of the area around the Music Department…! Really interesting pieces – thanks composers. We also had a meeting outlining plans for next academic year and have some very exciting projects and collaborations set to develop over the coming months – looking forward to seeing these ideas come to fruition in the near future.
