This concert is a preview of Classical Pride, the first Pride concert given by a major orchestra in Europe, sponsored by Sotheby’s. Taking place at the Barbican on 7 July – presented by Nick Grimshaw – Oliver Zeffman will conduct the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, an LGBTQ+ community chorus and world renowned soloists in a programme of Bernstein, Poulenc, Tchaikovsky, Caroline Shaw and a world premiere by Julian Anderson.
